Ultrabake™ washer pull plugs Long Series
Purpose
Ultrabake™ Washer Pull Plugs Long Series are designed to mask plain and threaded holes; they will mask off the hole and leave a circular grounding or earthing area around the hole.
How the product is used
The hole must be a through hole.
The plug is applied by being pulled into the hole. The narrow end of the plug is placed into the hole, and then the operator uses the narrower end to pull the larger end through the hole. As the plug is pulled the larger diameter stretches and becomes smaller, allowing the plug to fit through the hole. Once the grounding diameter is tight against the face of the area to be masked, the plug is released. The plug then forms a tight seal on the hole and the grounding area.
One end of the plug is similar in design to a pull plug, whilst the area above the grounding diameter can be used as a handle to remove the plug.

Design Features
Dual purpose - In addition to masking a components grounding area, the plug can be pulled into holes that are counter sunk to mask off the faces of the countersink

Storage conditions
Items should be stored in dry conditions at an ambient temperature of between 55°F (13°C) and 85°F (30°C). It is important to rotate stock and use the product in the order that it is received.

Custom Sizes
Custom sizes are available of this design. Tooling charges would be applicable to custom sizes. Existing production tools cannot be modified to produce a different length or diameter version of a standard plug.
Colors
Custom colors are available; however, they are subject to a minimum order quantity. It may not be possible to match colors exactly.

Ultrabake™ Washer Pull Plugs (UWPP)
are a similar design to the Ultrabake™ Washer Pull Plug Long Series and will also mask the hole and a concentric diameter around the hole for a through hole.
Ultrabake™ Hollow Washer Plugs (HWP) will mask the hole and a concentric diameter around the hole.
Ultrabake™ Step Plugs (SP) can be pushed into holes to mask the hole and a concentric diameter around the hole.
Ultrabake™ Sheeting (US) can be used to increase the washer area. If the washer diameter isn't large enough for your application consider a washer cut from Ultrabake™ Sheeting to fit under the largest diameter.
